CWShredder is another program that will remove all versions of one of the most notorious spyware programs, CoolWebSearch. Only use this if Ad-Aware and/or Spybot do not fix the problem.

How to run CWShredder

• Click Run
• If you get a License Agreement page, click I Agree.
• Choose Fix.
• You may then be prompted by a window that says CWShredder will shut down any internet and media player windows. Make sure you are not doing anything important in these programs, and then click OK.
• CWShredder will then scan your computer and will run through a list of files, telling you whether each was Not Present or Found on your computer.
• To remove any threats, click NEXT.
