- This is most likely the result of the built-in Pop-up blocker (It can also be caused by 3rd Party pop-up blockers).
- Many people don't notice the little yellow bar that appears just under the Address Bar. This is the notice from the Pop-up blocker. If you click on it, there will be a list of options for what to do with the blocked content. You can also skip the pop-up blocker by holding Ctrl when you click a link. You may also add the site you need to log into to the trusted sites list. To edit the popup blocker controls do the following:
- Open internet explorer
- Go to Tools > Internet Options
- Click the tab that says Privacy
- Next to popup blocker, click the button that says Settings.
