  • If there is no device listed under ipconfig, it indicates that there is a problem with the ethernet adapter.

    If you are not receiving an IP address, follow these steps:

      1. Make sure that your network card is enabled
          • Open the Control Panel
          • Open Network Connections
          • If any of the available devices say "Disabled," right-click on them and choose "Enable"
      2. Make sure that your network drivers are updated
          • Open the Control Panel
          • Open System
          • Click on the Hardware tab, then open Device Manager
          • If any of the listed items has a next to them, call ResNet at 6-4087

    If none of these steps work, call ResNet at 860-486-4087
